Can a Cover help prevent my vehicle from being stolen?

Yes , it definitely can.  It pays to protect all your investments.  A thief wants to experience the least amount of exposure.  When you cover a vehicle or piece of equipment, it takes time to remove the cover, so the thief's exposure time is increased. A cover also helps protect the interior contents of a vehicle. When items are out of sight they are less likely to tempt a thief.  The lock and cable will also help. 

Is there a correct way to install a vehicle cover?

As a general rule, cover the front bumper first and rear bumper last.  If the cover has mirror pockets, place the pockets over the mirrors first. If you have an old car you should cover the roof and windows first, and then the front and rear of the car. Please read the installation guide provided with your cover.

What is the best way to fold a cover when taking it off the vehicle?

Simply fold each side up onto the roof and refold it as necessary so the material ends up about 2 feet wide. Then, starting at the front of the vehicle, fold the cover towards the back in increments of about 2-3 feet. This way you don't drag the cover over the vehicles surface, and it's easy to reverse the process for installation.

Can I put a wet cover on a vehicle?

Yes but this is not suggested, it is best to dry the cover. As the temperature warms up, all the moisture will evaporate.  All of our fabrics are breathable!

How often should I wash my cover?

All our Covers are Washable. for more instructions, visit our Cover Care page.  Don't be afraid to wash a car cover.  Be sure to follow the washing instructions enclosed with your cover purchase.

 What if the product I ordered is out of stock or on backorder?

If your item is out of stock and on backorder, you will receive an email confirmation of same. If a product is out of stock and placed on backorder, it typically ships within 7-10 days of placing the order.

 How do I cancel an order?

All requests to change or cancel an order should be made as quickly as possible.  Please let us know right away by emailing info@coverwithcare.com or call us at (866) 549-6330.  

 What should I do if my product is received damaged?

If you receive a product that was damaged, do not accept if at all possible.  Please call us immediately at (866) 549-6330. Do not install the product on your vehicle or equipment.  We will determine whether or not it was shipping damage, and file a claim with UPS, if necessary.  We will also ship you a replacement immediately. 

Do I need a RMA number to return an item?

Yes, with a few exceptions (below).  In order to return a product to us for any reason, you will need to obtain an RMA number. Please note that it must be within 30 days of receipt of the order, and the product must be in new, resalable condition (if it is not defective). Failure to receive an RMA number can result in your package being refused, or a delay in processing your return. Please call (866) 549-6330 or e-mail info@coverwithcare.com to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number before returning your product.  NO returns of any type will be accepted without an RMA number.

Exceptions:

Golf Cart Seat Covers:  Can be returned within 30 days and DO NOT require a RMA.  Please be sure to enclose a copy of your invoice and an explanation as to why you are returning your product.  Upon return and inspection, coverwithcare.com will provide a full refund as long as the product is returned in its original packaging and without any visible damage.  Please visit our Shipping and Return Policy for more details.
